PTFE

The chemical name of PTFE material is polytetrafluoroethylene (generally called Teflon®, Teflon), which is a semi-crystalline fluoropolymer with many excellent properties.

Material characteristics
1. Corrosion resistance: acid resistance, alkali resistance, insoluble in various main organic solvents, almost all chemicals are resistant.
2. Self-lubricity: The coefficient of friction is extremely low (friction coefficient is less than or equal to 0.1), so when there is direct contact friction between the two acting objects, it has a lubricating effect.
3. High and low temperature resistance: the melting point is about 327 °C, the usable temperature of the finished product is about -190~260 ℃, it has excellent heat resistance, and the temperature has little effect on its material properties.
4. Weather resistance: long-term exposure to the atmosphere, its performance table remains unchanged, not brittle.
5. Anti-sticking property: the surface tension is very low, with excellent waterproof and oil resistance and non-stickiness. .

PTFE plastics can also be enhanced with the following additives, such as glass fiber, carbon, bronze, graphite.

Because of its structure, PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene resin is usually made into a semi-finished product by a compression molding process, and then processed by cutting and machine repair tools.
Common processed products such as: PTFE gaskets, rods, plates, pipes, bearings, sealing rings, rings, etc...
